Dianne Downing Swails

Dianne Downing Swails, 64, of Valdosta died Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Langdale Hospice House. She was born on December 15, 1950 in Hahira to Julian R. Downing and Thelma Bennett Downing. Dianne was a homemaker and a member of Clyattville First Baptist Church. She loved and enjoyed her family especially her grandchildren.
Dianne is survived by her husband, Thomas Swails of Valdosta, son and daughter in law, T. J. and Amy Swails of Valdosta, two grandchildren, Cameron Swails and Macy Swails, her mother, Thelma B. Downing of Valdosta, sister and brother in law, Joyce and Robert Hardee of Pinetta, FL, sisters in law and brothers in law, Danny Swails of Valdosta, JoAnn Temples (Randy Martin) of Ray City, Glenda and John Mahon and Richard and Lawanna Swails of Valdosta, several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Julian R. Downing, brother, Jimmy R. Downing and sister, Judy Downing.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 13, 2015 at eleven a. m. at the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home with Reverend Tommy Bussey and Reverend Ron Burkhalter officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from five until seven p. m. at the funeral home.
