Dianne Cawthon

Dianne Cawthon, 56, of Dasher, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015, at her home after a lengthy illness.

She was born August 20, 1959, in Brooks County, a daughter of the late Mark D. Pollock, Sr. and the late Bertie Ruth Wingate Pollock. Dianne loved her children, grandchildren, life, and being outdoors; and enjoyed hunting and fishing. She had worked for Mr. J.C. McMullen and knew the Lord all of her life.

She is survived by her Soul Mate, Clint Hightower of Dasher; three daughters, Christina Exum and David Hoskins of Dasher, Ruthie Dyal and Gene Weaver of Jennings, FL, and Barbara Yerby of Chattanooga, TN; three Granddaughters; two sisters, Lynda O'Neal and Charles of Valdosta, and Floride Pollock of Brooks County; one brother, Mark Pollock, Jr. of Brooks County; and one nephew.

A Memorial Service for Dianne will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 4, 2015, at the home of Lynda and Charles O'Neal, 733 Parkview Circle, Valdosta, with Mr. Westley Hazel officiating.
