Diane Fender Bellflower

September 23, 1957 — June 5, 2008

Diane Fender Bellflower, 50, of Hahira died Thursday, June 5, 2008 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Valdosta on September 23, 1957 to the late Billy and Lynda Amos Fender and was a lifelong resident of this area. Mrs. Bellflower was a member of the Assembly of God and was currently employed as the clerk for the City of Hahira. She loved her job and the people she worked with on a daily basis. The family would like to give special thanks to the Mayor, Hahira City Council and co-workers, the Pat Davis Family and Alice Baggett for their love, care and support.

Survivors include her husband, Cecil Bellflower, her daughter, Ashlie Bellflower, her granddaughter, Makenna Bellflower all of Hahira, sister and brother in law, Pam and Charles Griffin of Hahira, brother, Bill Fender, her twin brother and sister in law, David and Annette Fender all of Valdosta, several nieces and nephews, stepdaughters and stepsons in law, Robin and Jimmy Boleman of Hartwell, Karen and Don Berger of Albany and Melinda Bellflower of Atlanta, stepgrandchildren, Jonah Bellflower, Jamie Boleman, Grace Boleman, Matthew Berger, Kaleb Berger and Trevor Bellflower. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Zechariah Bellflower and a brother, Sam Fender.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Sunday, June 8, 2008 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home with the Rev. David Gordon officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
