Delano (Daino) Eller Davis

Delano (Daino) Eller Davis, 74, of Valdosta died Thursday, January 13, 2011 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Arcadia, Florida on January 1, 1937 to the late Dennis L. Eller and Ruby Jo Turner Eller Newell and had lived in Valdosta the majority of her life. Mrs. Davis was a Baptist and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Mark and Kim Davis of Hahira, two daughters and a son in law, Sonia and Vincent Brunson, Joley Davis all of Valdosta, a son, Aldean Dukes, Jr. of Valdosta, three grandchildren, Trey Williams, Ashlyn Davis and Kalin Boutwell, sister, Dale Crowder of Valdosta, brother and sister in law, Mickey and Faye Eller of Adel, brother and sisters, Russell Eller, Debbie Horton, Cherie Clifton all of Alabama and Penny New of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emory L. Davis and a sister, Sherry Eller Haire.

Funeral services will be held at 11am, Saturday, January 15, 2011 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Hughes and Mr. Lynwood Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Wayfare Cemetery in Mayday. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
