Deborah Ruth Greene Croft

Deborah Ruth Greene Croft, 76, of Valdosta, passed away on March 9, 2025 peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Born in Valdosta, on August 25, 1948, to the late George W. Greene, Jr. and Dolly Ruth Fletcher Greene. Mrs. Croft retired from Bellsouth after 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family as well as her church family at Forrest Park Church of Christ.

Mrs. Croft is survived by her children, Jenny Chance of Valdosta, Remer L. Croft, Jr. and Amy of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Shae Carr and Phillip Carr, great grandson Kayson Carr of Alabama, Hades Gray of Valdosta, Savannah Croft and Madison Croft of Valdosta; her sister and brother-in-law Sarah and Dickie Stewart of Valdosta, brother George Alan Greene of Valdosta, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 56 years, Remer L. Croft, Sr.

Funeral services for Mrs. Croft will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com.
