Deborah (Debbie) Lehman Dennis

Deborah Lehman Dennis, 62, of Valdosta died Monday, November 6, 2017 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on November 14, 1954 in Valdosta to the late Morris O. and Aurelia Harvey Lehman. Mrs. Dennis was a member of the Church of God. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and participating in their activities, cooking and watching sports.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons in law, Laura and Bill Garrett, Dede Dennis all of Valdosta, Amy and Ting Lott of Hahira; seven grandchildren, Tiffany Rose and James McMullen,III, Will Garrett, Abby Lott, Autumn Garrett, Daniel Lott, Sofia McMullen, James McMullen IV; her sister and brother in law, Priscilla and Jake Horne of Valdosta; her mother in law, Christine Dennis of Valdosta; her sisters in law and brothers in law, Pat and Kim Carpenter, Pam Silver all of Valdosta, Paula and Jim Browning of Ray City; niece and nephews, Kim Horne, Emily and Carl Rose, Bo and Stella Carpenter, Alex and Priscilla Carpenter, Erika and Emil Reister, Bryan Walker, Pamela and Travis Taylor; great nieces and great nephews, Kendyl Rose, Buck and Ayla Stubbs, Tanner Stubbs, CJ Rose, Lanie Carpenter, Austin Rose, Tiffany Taylor, Ryleigh Reister, Weston Reister, Troy Taylor, GiGi Hester, AJ Carpenter, Eric Stubbs, Emma Reese Walker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace D. (Wally) Dennis, Jr. and her grandmother, Zula Bee Harvey.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30pm, Thursday, November 9, 2017 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Gabbard officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Quitman. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7-9pm at the funeral home.
