Deborah Anne Ryals Atkins

Deborah Anne Ryals Atkins, 61, of Quitman died Friday, April 10, 2015. She was born in Valdosta on September 1, 1953 to Henry Sheldon Ryals, Jr. and Annie Ruth Clements Ryals. Mrs. Atkins was retired from the United States Army and had worked at Cox Communications. She is preceded in death by her father and her husband, Steven Clyde Atkins.

Mrs. Atkins is survived by her mother, Anne Ryals of Valdosta, her brother and sister in law, Greg and Susan Ryals of Mandeville, LA, her son and daughter in law, Scott and Angie Atkins of Valdosta, her niece, Megan Ryals of New Orleans, LA, two nephews, Brian Ryals of Los Angeles, CA and Eric Ryals of Lacombe, LA and her grandson, Zachary Atkins of Valdosta.

A graveside memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at two p. m. at Corinth Cemetery with Dr. Henry Cannington officiating. Burial will follow.
