Debbie Ruth Starling

Debbie Ruth Starling, 55, of Lake Park died Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Valdosta on July 6, 1960 to the late Elwood and Ruth Brown Starling. Miss Starling was a member of the Lake Park Church of Christ. She had worked for Crackin Good Bakery for many years prior to their closing and recently worked as a store clerk until illness forced her to retire. She loved collecting dolls, drinking sweet tea and loved to do any and everything for her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her brother and sister in law, Steve and Lisa Starling of Lake Park; nieces and nephews, Ivey and Taye Griffin of Dasher, Alison and Heath Eason of Dasher, Derrik and Jennie McLeod of Hahira, Kohle and Heather McLeod of Lake Park; two aunts, Frances Draper and Irene Brown both of Valdosta; special friend, Carolyn Croft of Lake Park.
Graveside services will be held at 3pm, Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Copeland Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-7pm at the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home in Lake Park.
