Dean Allen Mcleod

September 15, 1967 — July 8, 2005

Dean Allen McLeod, 38, died on Friday, July 8, 2005 at his home in Valdosta. Born in Valdosta on September 15, 1966, he was a Graduate of Georgia Christian School and Valdosta Technical College. Mr. McLeod was a Professional Land Surveyor and was the owner of McLeod Surveying Company. He was a member of Dasher Church of Christ where he served as Treasurer and Deacon. His hobbies were driving his tractor and sharing time with his children. His son, Jason, age 13, said that his daddy died doing what he loved best, working on the farm. His daughter, Chelsea, age 10, always made him laugh with her many expressions - she was truly "Daddy’s Little Girl". Mr. McLeod loved Georgia Christian School and volunteered many hours supporting the school and working on the campus. He was a young man known for his love for others, his tender heart, his dry wit and his BEAUTIFUL smile. This world has lost one of the most gentle and loving men ever born.
