David G. Harrison

David G. Harrison, 60, of Valdosta, died on Friday, June 16, 2006 at South Georgia Medical Center after a long illness. Born on October 4, 1945 in Waycross, he was the son of the late Ferman E. and Bertha Mae Geiger Harrison. He was a newspaper reporter and of the Methodist faith.

Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Leigh and Robert Cline of Valdosta; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Becky Harrison of McDonough; one granddaughter, Mary Harrison of McDonough and two grandsons, Matthew Smith of Valdosta and Charlie Harrison of McDonough.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 18, 2006 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pearlman Cancer Center, 2501 N.
