Brothers David and Drew Pinkston recently passed away. They were the sons of Eugene Emmett Pinkston III and Connie Field Pinkston and grew up in Albany, GA. They were sincerely loved and will be deeply missed.
David was born Jan. 15, 1954 in Atlanta, GA and died at Hospice House of Atlanta on July 8, 2017. He worked at Wiregrass Plantation, Georgia Electric as an electrical contract worker at Cooper Tire, and for Dr. Frank Middleton. Survivors include a daughter, Erin Pinkston (Wes Cleveland) and grandchildren PFC David Ford, Abby McCard, Isabella Garcia, Wesley Cleveland, Katie Brooke Cleveland and Abby Cleveland all of Blakely. A memorial service for David was held at 2:00 PM September 9, 2017 at the farm of Dr. Frank Middleton located on Hwy. 133, one and one-half miles south of County Line Rd. in Worth County. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation.
Drew was born September 28, 1956 in Albany, GA and died August 12, 2017 at Willson Hospice House, Albany, GA. He was a certified computer network expert and worked for Allied Communications and Honeywell in Texas, New York and in the South Georgia/North Florida area. He is survived by a son, Lawrence (Kristi) Wiggins and grandsons Jackson and Jonathan Wiggins all of Alamo, GA. A graveside memorial service will be held for Drew at 5:00 PM October 22, 2017 at the Lake Park Cemetery, Lake Park, GA. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Humane Society or your local animal shelter.
Both brothers were predeceased by their parents and grandparents Emmett and Marie (Brown) Pinkston, Ethel Simpkins Boyd and Alton Field and aunts and uncles Brown (Selina) Pinkston and Ann (Charles) Phillips.
David and Drew are also survived by brothers Emmett (Judy) Pinkston of Lake Park, GA; Darryl Pinkston of Worth County GA.; sister Constance (Don) Spencer of Gotha, FL and their beloved aunt, Dorothy Pinkston, Valdosta.
