Louise Turner Brooks, 91, of Valdosta, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at Heritage House following a lengthy illness. She was born on August 30, 1928 in Coffee Co., Georgia to the late William and Julia Bell Ware Turner and has lived in this area for almost 50 years. She was a loving wife, pastor’s wife, homemaker, and daycare worker. Mrs. Brooks was of the Church of God faith.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Allan and Denise Brooks, of Nahunta, GA, Franklin Brooks, Marvin and Tina Brooks, and Paul Brooks, all of Valdosta, and Cyndi Brooks, of St. Augustine, FL; fifteen grandchildren, Amy, Amanda, April, Nicky, Jade, David, Rhonda, Joe, Timmy, Gini, Bradley, Bowen, Jordan, Shelby, Sarah, and their spouses; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a brother and sister in law, Thomas and Joanne Brooks, of Valdosta; a special daughter in law, Gayle Brooks, who helped see about her care, several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Virgil Brooks, and two sons, Albert Brooks and Alvin Brooks.
