Dannie J. Ferguson Valdosta, Ga -

Dannie J. Ferguson 72, of Valdosta, Georgia and formerly of Accoville went to his heavenly home January 21, 2009 following a long battle with cancer. Born February 14, 1937 at Braeholm, West Virginia , he was the son of the late Reverend Lloyd Ferguson & Blanche Gentry Ferguson of Justice.

Dannie was an Executive Board Member of the United Mine Workers Of America District 17 , Lifetime Coal Miner, Local Number 8454, President of Triadelphia CB Club. Dannie loved the outdoors and NASCAR.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Rhonda, four daughters, Deborah Ferguson of Baltimore, Maryland, Diana Lynn Conn of King, North Carolina, Paula (Earl) Clark of Man , West Virginia, Patricia (Keith) Ross of Valdosta, Georgia, two brothers, Billy Jack (Marsha) Ferguson of Justice, Lloyd Miles "Tommy" (Judy) Ferguson, Jr. of Cross Lanes, West Virginia; one sister, Ada Sue Ferguson of Girton, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Keith Ross Jr., of Valdosta, Georgia, Ryan Joseph Ferguson of North Carolina, Candace Laine Conn of Baltimore, Maryland, Dustin Tyler Skinner of Baltimore, Maryland; one great grandchild, Dominick Lane Conn of Baltimore, Maryland, many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ethel Blankenship Ferguson of North Carolina

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
