Daniel Edward Sirmans

Daniel Edward Sirmans, 68, of Lake Park, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at his residence. He was born to Lonnie and Pearle Kate Hewitt Sirmans on January 5, 1955 in Waycross, GA. He was employed as a troubleman with Georgia Power. He enjoyed being with his family and his loving wife of 37 years, Tina Richardson Sirmans. He loved his family, his two dogs, and the outdoors. Mr. Sirmans made bird houses, loved to fish, and to piddle with projects. He loved serving the Lord and being with his church family. He was known for racing for cash with his “Road Runner” sports car.

Mr. Sirmans is survived by his wife of 37 years, Tina A. Sirmans, of Lake Park; daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and Joe Schwab, of Tallahassee, FL; son and daughter-in-law, David and Linda Barnes, of Hahira; son, Stephen Barnes, of Atlanta; daughter, Patricia Hair, of Mississippi; son, Travis Fletcher, of Valdosta; grandchildren, Abram Barnes, of Hahira, Waylon Hardon, of Valdosta, Alivia Barnes, of Hahira, and Jace Schwab, of Tallahassee, FL. He was preceded by in death by his parents, and a brother Mike Sirmans.

A funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Francis Lake Baptist Church with Bro. Eldridge Lyons officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-11am. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens.
