Daniel Douglas Bollin, Ii

Daniel D. Bollin, II, 60, of Valdosta died Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at the Langdale Hospice House. He was born in West Point, New York to Florence Miller Bollin and the late Daniel Douglas Bollin and had lived in Valdosta since 1971. Mr. Bollin was retired as a Master Sargeant with the United States Air Force having served in Vietnam and Desert Storm. He was a letter carrier with United States Postal Service and a Methodist. He loved to fish and was a member of Bass Masters.

Survivors include his wife, Amber Bollin of Valdosta, son and daughter in law, Daniel, III and Joan Bollin of Valdosta, daughter and son in law, Jennifer and Chris Bitondo of California, sons and daughter in law, David and Marietta Bollin of Oklahoma City, OK and John Bollin of Valdosta, two grandchildren, Taylor Bitondo and Todd Bitondo both of California, his mother, Florence Bollin of Valdosta, sister and brother in law, Teresa and John Waite of Valdosta, brother and sister in law, Douglas (Doug) and Wanda Bollin of Valdosta and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Douglas Bollin.

Funeral services will be held at 11am, Saturday, April 19, 2008 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Skip Van Nus officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
