Dane Stephen Turnmeyer

Dane Stephen Turnmeyer, 13, of Panama City, Florida, transcended from life temporal into life eternal on Saturday, September 3, 2016. He was born in Valdosta on March 21, 2003 and his family and friends were blessed with the miracle of his life for 13 years. He had attended Pine Grove Elementary School and was currently attending North Bay Haven Charter Academy Middle School where he is an active member of the Swim and Golf Teams. He is a member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church and Northstar Church.
He is survived by: his father, Stephen Jon Turnmeyer and his wife, Amy Mason Turnmeyer, of Valdosta; his mother, Tamara Schmidt Turnmeyer, and his sister, Marislynn Klaire Turnmeyer, both of Panama City, FL; his half-brother, Kurtis Michael Schmidt, and his step brother, Mason Ross Thompson, both of Valdosta; his grandparents, Richard J. Turnmeyer Sr. and his wife, Gail Turnmeyer, of South Carolina; Elly P. Lare and her husband, Michael Lare, of Melbourne, Fl.; Robert and Kathy Schmidt, of Panama City, FL,; George and Jean Mason, of Valdosta; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date and will be announced by Carson McLane Funeral Home who is assisting his Valdosta family.
