Cynthia Corrales Peters

Cynthia Darlene Corrales Peters, 56, of Lake Park, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at Shand's University of Florida Hospital in Gainesville, FL. She was born on May 23, 1951 in Mobile, AL to the late Edward Dolbear and Mary Kathryn Booker Corrales. Mrs. Peters was a homemaker, a member of New Life Community Church and worked for several years at the Fish Net with Po Ed.

She is survived by her husband, Brian (Tinker) Peters of Lake Park, two sons and one daughter in law, Brian A. Peters Jr. and his wife, Bonnie Marie and Zachery Edward Peters of Lake Park, one step son, Jimmy Peters of Valdosta, one step daughter, Stephanie Marie Peters Bradford and her husband, Randy of Naylor, her mother, Mary K. Corrales, two sisters, Linda Corrales Chewning and Lee Ann Corrales of Valdosta, one brother, Edward Joseph Corrales of New Bergen, NJ, two granddaughters, Ashlea Marie Peters and Kaleigh Rayne Bradford and Madison Louise Peters (expected in September).

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 25, 2008 at four p. m. at the New Life Community Church in Lake Park. She will lie in state for one hour prior to service time in the church. Burial will follow in the Lake Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Saturday at the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the Winship Foundation at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta or to the Pearlman Cancer Center.
