Curtis Gene Porter

Curtis Gene Porter, 53, of Ray City, died on Friday, July 8, 2011, at Langdale Hospice House. Born in Valparaiso, Indiana, on October 25, 1958, he was a member of the Church of Christ and a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Survivors are his mother, Donna Porter and sister, Cindy Burroughs of Ray City; a son, John Curtis Porter of Payette, Ohio; grandsons, Zachary and Evan Porter; and a step son, Azrial.

Graveside services and committal were held at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri on July 13, 2011. Condolences may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com. Carson McLane Funeral Home served the family locally.
