Craig Alan Pennington

Craig Alan Pennington, 54, of Valdosta passed away on Friday, November 29, 2013 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Craig was born on June 10, 1959 in Valdosta and was employed as a salesman at Pipkin Motors in Valdosta. His most enjoyable hobby and pastime was riding his motorcycle with his many friends and members of the Outback Riders Motorcycle Club. He was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church.

Craig was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Alan Pennington and his father, Robert (Bob) Lee Pennington.

Survivors include his son and his fiance' William Ryan Pennington and Elizabeth Tidwell of Lawrenceville, GA, his mother, Shirley Pennington of Hahira, GA, brother and sister in law, Lee and Karen Pennington of Lawrenceville, GA, nephew and his fiance' Seth Pennington and Vanessa Middleton of Lawrenceville, GA, niece and her husband, Erin and Jason Zapata of Bethlehem, GA, his cousins, Martha Cone of Valdosta and Mary Shivel of Tampa, FL, and several great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, December 1, 2013 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Graham and Rev. Rick Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethany Cemetery in Hahira. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5-7pm at the Carson McLane Funeral Home.
