Connie Fredenberger

Connie Fredenberger, 86, of Valdosta, died on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at her residence following a lengthy illness. Born in Berrien County to the late Moses Hill Bass and Martha Mattie Knox Bass, she had lived in this area for the past 38 years. Mrs. Fredenberger was a beautician for many years operating Park Avenue Beauty Salon and Connie's Corner & Man's World. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Fredenberger is survived by her husband, Bill Fredenberger, of Valdosta; three sons and daughters in law, Ronald & Jayne Allen and Steve & Glenda Griffin, all of Valdosta, and Scott & Sarah Griffin of East Berlin, PA. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Rene (Butch) Love of Hendersonville, TN, Ron (Jennifer) Allen, and Simone (Kris) Lay, all of Valdosta, Dana (Butch) Moser of Hahira, Stephanie (Dustin) Roberts, of Valdosta, Jennifer Phoenix of Germantown, MD and Derek (Kerri) Griffin of Sugar Hill, GA; and ten great grandchildren.
A family graveside service will be held for Mrs. Fredenberger at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. Rev. Thomas Mason, Jr. will officiate.
