Coma Leona Walker

Coma Leona Walker, 90, of Sugar Land, TX passed away Friday, June 1, 2007 at the Houston Hospice Care Center in Houston, TX after a brief illness. She was born in Hahira, GA to the late Lude Lehman and Lena Cribbs Lehman. Mrs Walker was formerly of Valdosta, GA. A loving homemaker and a woman of strong faith. She was a member of Family Worship Center in Stafford, TX.

Survivors include: two sons, Mitch Walker of Sugar Land, TX, and Alex and Janice Walker of Ft Myers, FL. Her Grandchildren, Cerece and her husband William Phillips of Sugar Land with whom Leona lived, William Williams and Starr LeGette both of Sugar Land, Paul and Angie Carlson of Ft Myers, FL, Alex and Angie Walker, Jr of Atlanta, GA, Richard and Colette King of Athens, GA. A number of Great Grandchildren, Travis, Tara, and Diana Phillips of Sugar Land , Connor and Ryan King of Athens, Jonathan Carlson of Ft Myers, Greyson Walker and Sage Leona Walker, who is on the way, of Atlanta. And her sister, Billie Grantham of Tallahassee, FL.

Mrs Walker was predeceased by her husband Jewell B. (Bud) Walker and a daughter, DiAnne.

Funeral Services will be Tues. June 5, 2007 at 11 AM in the Chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home in Valdosta, GA. Ordained Minister and Evangelist Debra George will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery and the visitation will be from 6 until 8 PM Monday evening.
