Clois Alderman Martin

Clois Alderman Martin, 83, of Lake Park, died Thursday, October 11, 2007 at her residence. She was born in Brooks County on November 19, 1923 to the late James and Miltie Rutherford Alderman. Mrs. Martin was a registered nurse and a member of Barney United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Jack S. Jr. and Lovelle Martin of Lake Park, her son in law, Larry Thomas of Barney, grandchildren and their spouses, Missy and Bobby Bennett of Valdosta, Corbin and David Tyler of Arkansas, Liska Lovelle and Joe McKinnon and J. Ryce and Amanda Becton Martin of Valdosta, great grandchildren, Brooks Bennett, Sutherlin Bennett, Briggs Bennett, Carsi Tyler and Tyler Sumner. Mrs. Martin is preceded in death by her husband, Jack S. Martin, Sr., daughter, Kimberly Thomas, grandson, Kyle Jefferson and great grandson, Christopher Tyler.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 13, 2007 at two p. m. at the graveside in Sunset Hill Cemetery with Pastor Keith Allsbrook officiating. Burial will follow.
