Clines Thomas Rowell, Sr., 69, of Adel died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born in Quitman on January 18, 1941 to Robbie Sapp Rowell Nobles and the late J. T. Rowell and was a lifelong resident of this area. Mr. Rowell was a member of the Church of God and a retired heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his son and daughter in law, Clines Thomas, Jr. and Brandy Rowell of Hahira, fiance’, Brenda Rowell of Adel, his mother, Robbie Nobles of Quitman, grandchildren, Clines Thomas Rowell, III, Joshua C. Rowell and Michael Lee Rowell, three brothers, Lee Rowell of Cecil, Thomas Rowell of Hahira and Franklin Nobles of Quitman, three sisters, Mildred Rowell of Cecil, Ann Rowell and Betty Jean Rowell both of Palatka, Fla.
Graveside services will be held at 2pm, Monday, October 4, 2010 at Philadelphia Cemetery with Rev. Ken Driggers officiating. Visitation will be held from 10am until 1pm at the funeral home.
