Clifford Henry Webb

Clifford Henry Webb, 92, of Barney died Sunday, March 8, 2015 at the Langdale Hospice House. He was born in Lowndes County on August 4, 1922 to the late Eli D., Jr. and Tobitha Stalvey Webb and was a lifelong resident of this area. Mr. Webb was a member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church and a veteran of the United States Navy having served in World War II. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia and enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing and working.

Survivors include his wife, Edna B. Webb of Barney, two sons and daughters in law, Stephen and Lisa Webb of Bainbridge; Ross and Sara Webb of Pavo; daughter and son in law, Jean and Evans Blackburn of Springfield, GA; three grandchildren, Joshua and Melissa Webb of Crewe, VA; Lilly Ann and Ronnie Russell of Roopville, GA; and Jacob Blackburn stationed at Moody Air Force Base, two great grandchildren, Cadence Russell and Delta Russell and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Lee Webb and one sister and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11am, Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the Shiloh United Methodist Church with Rev. Carl Howard and Rev. Russ Elkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8pm at the Martin/McLane Funeral Home in Hahira.
