Clayton Herman (Bill) Flowers

Clayton Herman (Bill) Flowers, 79, of Valdosta, died Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born in Pavo, GA on April 13, 1932 to the late James Loy and Jessie Vera Flowers. Mr. Flowers was retired from the United States Army, was a member of the Veteran's of Foreign War's and the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Ruth W. Flowers of Valdosta, two daughters and sons in law, Debra and Joe Ganas of Warner Robins, GA and Barbel L. and Jimmy Paschal of Lakeland, GA, five grandchildren, Jordan Ganas, Glenn Paschal, Heather Ganas, James Paschal and Daniel Ganas, five sisters, Patsy Aquino of Deland, FL, Jewel Pafford of Valdosta, Shirley Sellars of Pelham, GA, Laverne Stone of Deland, FL Arnel1 MacFarlane of DeBary, FL and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Flowers is preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence Flowers and Wallace Flowers.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2011 at eleven a. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Mickey Wisehart officiating. Burial will follow in McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Friday at the funeral home.
