Claudia Wilkinson Clements

Claudia Wilkinson Clements, 91, of Valdosta, died on Thursday, March 2, 2006 at South Georgia Medical Center. Born in Bulloch County, Georgia on June 11, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Birdie Proctor and William Arnie Lanier. She had made her home in Valdosta for the past 63 years, was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. Mrs. Clements was preceded in death by her first husband, K. C. Wilkinson and her second husband, Randall R. Clements.

Survivors are her son and daughter in law, Fred and Vickie Wilkinson of Valdosta; daughter and son in law, Gloria and Charlie Norwood of Augusta and Washington, D.C.; grandchildren, Sala and Bill Love of Valdosta, Thom and Dana Wilkinson of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Dana Wilkinson of Valdosta, Charles and Denise Norwood of Evans, Carlton and Paige Norwood of Augusta; great grandchildren, Amber and Justin Lodge of Quitman, Taylor, Chad and Sala Elizabeth Prain of Valdosta, Thomas, Lanier and James Wilkinson of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Kristen and Charlton Norwood, Aubrey and Kendall Williams of Augusta; great great grandchildren, Thomas, Hannah and Lauralyn Lodge of Quitman; sisters, Clarice Mullis of Macclenny, Florida; Willa Dean Kiser of Hahira, Kitty Jean Brannen of Statesboro.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2006, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with burial at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Dr. Phil West will officiate.
