Claudia Louelle Bennett

Claudia Bennett, 66, of Valdosta, died Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at her residence. She was born on May 12, 1948 in Valdosta to the late Joseph Lee Bennett and Doris Margaret Black Wilson. Claudia was retired from the State of Georgia, enjoyed being a Nanny and was a member of The Gathering.

She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Michelle Cooper Byington and Robert Byington, Jr., three grandchildren, Jordan Voigt (Turner), Shelby Brooks and Sarah Brooks, one great granddaughter, Emersyn Voigt, her brother, David Bennett, all of Valdosta, her half sister, Tracy Carey and her half brother, Richard Wilson of Lake Park, FL and her uncle, Gene and Gloria Bennett of Nicholson, GA.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 3:30 p. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Minton officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
