Clarence B. Fender

CLARENCE B. FENDER, 73, of Valdosta died Friday, April 14, 2006 at South Georgia Medical Center after a short illness. He was born on July 19, 1932 in Valdosta to the late Charlie T. and Gertrude Hendley Fender. Mr. Fender was a retired dairy farmer and a veteran of the U. S Army. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter in law, Fred Fender, Steve and Kim Fender all of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., two daughters, Trudy Fender of North Carolina and Cynthia Fender of Jacksonville, Fla. and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Gladys Allen, Mildred May and Ressie Carter and three brothers, Troy Fender, Russell Fender and Julian Fender.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at Sunset Hill Cemetery with Rev. Barry Hall officiating.
