Clara Pearl Vann Williams

Clara Pearl Vann Williams, 82, of Valdosta died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Valdosta on November 11, 1928 to the late Marie and Myrtle Phillips Vann. Mrs. Williams was retired from Owens-Illinois and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Johnny Williams of Valdosta, a daughter, Judy Pittman and Bruce Nesbitt of Lake Park, one brother, Franklin Vann of Valdosta, three sisters and brother-in -laws, Sara and Jack White of Valdosta, Faye and Bobby Watson of Albany, Mae Bennett of Valdosta, 5-grandchildren, 2-great grandchildren, special son in law, Terry Jackson of Valdosta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Williams, a son, Tommy Williams and two daughters, Renie Smith and Martha Jackson.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on Friday, April 1, 2011 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Mickey Corbett officiating. Burial will follow in the Joe Howell Cemetery.
