CLARA KINSEY HUGHES, 94, of Wellington, Fla and formerly of Lowndes County died on Saturday, June 25, 2005 at the Hospice of Palm Beach County in West Palm Beach, Fla. She was born on March 21, 1911 in Echols County to the late Carl J. and Eula Clayton Kinsey and had lived in Lowndes County before moving to reside in Bradenton and Sebring, Florida and had lived in Wellington, Florida for the past ten years. Mrs. Hughes was a member of the Lake Josephine Baptist Church in Sebring, Florida and loved her family.
Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Ouida and Francis Chumney of Wellington, Fla., three grandchildren and their spouses, Michael and Kim Chumney of Wellington, Fla., Alan and Cheryl Chumney of Jupiter, Fla. and Monica Chumney of Lantana, Fla., five great grandchildren, Brian Chumney and his wife, Maria Chumney of Gainesville, Fla., Kaitlyn Chumney of Jupiter, Fla., Morgan Chumney, Lauren Chumney and Christopher Chumney all of Wellington, Fla., a brother and sister in law, C. J., Jr. and Ada Kinsey of Falmouth, Fla., a close family friend, Kimberly McClay of West Palm Beach, Fla., several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rader M. Hughes.
