Christine Golden

Christine Golden, 69, of Valdosta, died at her home on Monday, December 25, 2006. Born in Florida on February 3, 1937 she was the daughter of the late Grace Brennan and Leroy Johnson, Sr. Mrs. Golden was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Survivors are her sons and daughters in law, Martin and Debbie Golden of Lake Park, Homer and Charlotte Golden of Bainbridge, daughters and sons in law, Elaine and Jimmy Covington of Clyattville, Lois and Lenwood Terrell of Valdosta; 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters in law, Leroy and Judy Johnson of Lincoln, Nebraska, Lewis and Barbara Johnson of Panama City, Florida, Eddie Johnson of Valdosta; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mrs. Golden was preceded in death by her husband, Delma O. Golden.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. Reverend Bruce McCracken will officiate.
