Cheryl Diane Knight

Cheryl Diane Knight, 61, of Valdosta, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at Lakehaven Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness.

She was born January 18, 1954, in Quitman, a daughter of Hubert T. and Mary Evelyn Bush Warmack. Cheryl graduated from Brooks County High School and Valdosta Technical College. She loved children, and was of the Baptist faith, she loved church and singing in choir.

Cheryl is survived by her mother, Mary Evelyn Warmack of Lake Park; brother, Tommy Warmack of Conyers; sister, Debra Jane Roberts and husband John of Panama City, FL; brother, Michael H. Warmack of Lake Park; two nephews, Joseph Michael Warmack of Lake Park and Jacob Thomas Warmack of Virginia; several sister-in-laws and brothers-in-law, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father and her husband, Gary Knight.

A Graveside Service for Mrs. Knight will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2015, at Empire Cemetery, Lanier County, with Rev. Bob Willis officiating. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanefuneralservices.com. Carson McLane Funeral Home, Valdosta.
