Cheryl A. Rivnyak

CHERYL A. RIVNYAK, 62, of Valdosta, died Saturday, August 31, 2008 at Heritage House Nursing Home. She was born in Lake Worth, FL on March 31, 1946, a daughter of the late Joseph and Marion Barnes Renick. Cheryl loved her grandchildren, and enjoyed arts and crafts, and sports, especially college football.

She is survived by her three children, Craig M. Rivnyak of Valdosta, Darren J. Rivnyak and his wife Chemin of Lake Worth, FL, and Keri Andersen and her husband Chip of Valdsota; six grandchildren, Kayla Rivnyak, Ashley Rivnyak, Taylor Andersen, Georgia Andersen, Alex Andersen and Kaylee Andersen; and one brother, Terry Renick and his wife Joy of Beaverton, OR. She was predeceased by her husband, William Rivnyak in 1996.

Cheryl's family would like to thank D.C.A., and the nursing staff and physical therapists at Heritage House for their comfort, care and support.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3 pm Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Perimeter Road Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 pm Saturday at the church.
