Cheri Puckett Wilder

Cheri Puckett Wilder, 53, of Valdosta, died Friday, January 21, 2011 at her residence. She was born on August 5, 1957 to Jack Heywood and Judith M. Puckett. Cheri had worked as a Human Resources Supervisor in Broken Arrow, OK, had served six years in the United States Army and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She loved her children and her animals.

Cheri is survived by her mother, Judith M. Puckett of Valdosta, one son, Jeremy Troy Shaffer of Valdosta, two daughters, Victoria Ryan Kent of Yuma, AZ and Summer Elizabeth Kent of Valdosta, one brother and sister in law, Glen Heywood and Tracy Puckett of Orangeburg, SC. She is predeceased by her infant son, Ryan Taylor Shaffer, her husband, Randy Wilder and her father, Jack Heywood Puckett.

Cheri's request was to be cremated and a private memorial service was held at Sunset Hill Cemetery where she was buried near her infant son.
