Charlotte Marie Brown Cowart

Charlotte Marie Brown Cowart, 45, of Hahira died Friday, January 20, 2012 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on February 20, 1966 in Valdosta to Raymond Logan Brown and Dicie Catherine Croft Brown. Charlotte was a cashier at the Hahira Quik Stop, was of the Church of God faith and worked with her husband Steve installing carpet.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Cowart of Hahira, two sons and one daughter in law, Roy Register, Jr. and Stephen and Jaden Cowart of Valdosta, two daughters and one son in law, Heather Lee of Valdosta and Ashley and Duran Pendleton of Naylor, seven grandchildren, Alissa Church, Cheyenne Register, Hailey Pendleton, Hannah Church, Chevy Pendleton, Rachel Pendleton and Kaylee Cowart, her mother, Catherine Brown of Valdosta, her brother, Robert Lee Brown, Sr. of Valdosta, her sister and brother in law, Louise Brown Harrell and Warren Harrell of Albany, her brothers and sisters in law, William Fred, Sr. and Vivian Brown and Byron Keith and Ann Brown of Valdosta, several nieces, nephews and friends. Charlotte is preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Lynn Cowart, her father, Raymond L. Brown, her sister, Diane Brown, her brother, Darren Scott Brown and her brother in law, William Joseph (Joey) Crider.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 27, 2012 at the graveside at Carter Cemetery with Pastor Bobby Frier, Brother Benny Daniels and her sister, Louise Harrell officiating.
