Charles “Chuck” Henry Spangler, 75, of Valdosta, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 at his home. He was born on December 18, 1946 in Mount Vernon, OH to the late Perry Edwin and Alice Mary Hill Spangler. Chuck was a retired self-employed construction sales representative. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army. Chuck was a musician who played the upright bass and enjoyed bluegrass and gospel music. He attended Azalea City Church of God.
Chuck is survived by his wife Jeanne C. Spangler, of Valdosta; his sons, Justin (Alicia) Spangler, of Bowling Green, KY, and Lance (Krista) Spangler, of Valdosta; his step daughter, Lisa Harvey (Kevin), of Centerburg, OH; eight grandchildren, Coby Fielding, Kylan (Nick) McGovern, Claire (Jake) May, Clay Harvey, Joshua Pyles, Elliott Pyles, Kaleigh Spangler, Charleigh Spangler; great grandchildren, Mia McGovern, Jaxon May, Ethan Pyles, and Alexis Pyles; siblings, Myra Taylor (Roy), Mary Roberts (Roy), Perry Spangler, Jr., Gertrude Arnold (Wayne), David Spangler, Steven Spangler (Mary); and several nieces and nephews.
