Charles Palmer Alexander, 75, of Valdosta, died at South Georgia Medical Center on Wednesday, September 23, 2015. He was born August 3, 1940 in Richmond, Virginia to the late Charles Palmer Alexander, Jr. and Margaret Smith Alexander. Mr. Alexander graduated from Valdosta High School in 1957 and received his B.S. from Hampton-Sydney College in 1961. In 1964 he acquired his Law Degree from University of Virginia. Mr. Alexander was an attorney and a manager.
Surviving Mr. Alexander is his wife Virginia Culpepper Alexander of Valdosta; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tony Alexander (Lisa) of Marietta, Bill Alexander (Stacy) of Kennesaw; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret Sadd (John) of Santa Fe, New Mexico; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Cabell Alexander, of Austin, Texas; John Alexander (Wyna) of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Tony Alexander of Austin, Texas, and four grandchildren.
A memorial service for Mr. Alexander will be held at First Christian Church on Thursday, October 1, 2015, at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Chris Michael officiating.
