Charles Millard Storey

Charles Millard Storey, 78, of Valdosta, died Sunday, March 26, 2006 at his residence. He was born on August 17, 1927 in Lowndes County, GA to the late Ernest A. and Mary Moore Storey and was a lifelong resident of Valdosta, was a clerk with Southern Railroad, was a United States Navy veteran and a member of New Harvest United Methodist Church.

He is survived by two sons and one daughter in law, Louis Millard and Roslyn Storey and Gary A. Storey of Valdosta, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one sister, Glenette Dasher of Valdosta. Mr. Storey is preceded in death by his wife, Julia Allen Storey, one son, Paul Richard Storey and two brothers, Ernest Arnold Storey and Clifford H. Storey.

Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at two p. m. at Sunset Hill Cemetery. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends Tuesday from six until eight p. m. at the funeral home. Condolences to the family may be expressed online at mclanefuneralservices.com.
