Charles Julian (Ricky) Hatcher, Jr.

Charles Julian “Ricky” Hatcher, Jr., 49, of Lake Park, died on Thursday, December 22, 2005 at South Georgia Medical Center after a sudden illness. Born on October 29, 1956 in Valdosta, he was the son of the late Charles J. Hatcher, Sr. and Bessie Sutton Hatcher Bennett. He was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors are three daughters, Keisha Hatcher and Mandy Hatcher of Auburn and Taylor Hatcher of Valdosta; one son, Charles Richard “Buck” Hatcher of Arciada, FL; one stepson, Matthew Hall of Valdosta; two sisters, Vickie Pringle of Valdosta and Lisa Hatcher of Austell; three nieces, Daphne Hatcher, Deborah Pringle and Brandy Henderson all of Valdosta and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Mickey Corbett officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carson McLane Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
