MSGT (USAF Ret.), Charles H. Mock, 44, of Okinawa, Japan, died on October 1, 2014. Mr. Mock was born in Valdosta on September 21, 1970 and was a graduate of Lowndes High School. He was retired from the United States Air Force and worked as a civilian contractor for the U.S. Army. His favorite hobby was computer games.
Survivors are his wife, Raquel Mock, daughter, Kathleen Mock, son, Charles Mock all of Jacksonville, Florida; daughters, Samantha Mock of Las Vegas, Nevada, Virginia Marbut of Jacksonville; sister and brother in law, Delaney (Jimmy) Hendley of Alabama, brother and sister in law, Michael (Jennifer) Mock of Valdosta; his parents, Linda and Charles Mock of Valdosta; grandchildren, Aden Marbut and Ethan Marbut of Jacksonville; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services with Military Honors will be held on Monday, December 8, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Wayfare Cemetery. Brother Dwight Marshall will officiate. The family will gather for visitation at the Carson McLane Funeral Home on Monday at 11:30 a.m. Condolences may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com.
