Charles G. Kluball

Charles G. Kluball, 90, of Valdosta died Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at the Magnolia Manor in Americus. He was born on June 22, 1921 in Tomahawk, Wisconsin to the late Rudolph and Margaret Steger Kluball and had lived in Valdosta for the past fifty six years. Mr. Kluball was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and retired from Owens-Illinois. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in World War II.

Survivors are his daughter, Carolyn Kluball Lohman of Rockledge, Fla., two sons and daughters in law, Dennis Charles and Barbara Kluball of Valdosta, Dr. Jeffrey Lynn and Carol Kluball of Leesburg, six grandchildren, Suzanne Denise Kluball of Valdosta, Cameron Ryan Lohman of Rockledge, Fla., Charles Preston Kluball of Columbus, GA., Jeremy Mathis Kluball of Leesburg, Fla., Kimberly Ann Richey of Indianapolis, IN., Rebecca Lynn Kluball of Leesburg. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Kluball and a son in law, Gary Lohman.

Funeral services will be held at 10am, Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Messiah Lutheran Church with the Rev. Richard Pieplow and Rev. Joshua Brown officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
