Charles Edward Lambert, Sr.

Charles E. Lambert, Sr., 62, of Hahira passed away Thursday, February 22, 2007 at his home. He was born on January 18, 1945 in Wiersdale, Florida to the late Ed and Lora Lambert and had lived in this area since 1990. Mr. Lambert was a retired brickmason and enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Terry and Lisa Lambert of Hahira, a daughter and son in law, Kim and James Parr of Valdosta, four grandchildren, Zachary Lambert, Ashley Lambert, Danielle Lambert Calisch and Heather Parr, one great grandson, Issaic Calisch, three sisters, Margaret Collins of Belleview, Fla., Betty Carter of Lake Placid, Fla. and Grace Green of Columbiana, Ala., one brother, William “George” Lambert of Wiersdale, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Lora Lambert, a sister, Mary Lambert and a brother, K. J. Lambert.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Saturday, February 24, 2007 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Fender officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1pm until service time at the funeral home. In accordance with Mr. Lambert’s wishes he will be cremated following the services.
