Charles "Chuck" Nash

May 28, 1951 — April 4, 2016

Charles "Chuck" Nash, 64, of Valdosta died at his residence on Monday, April 4, 2016 after a sudden illness. He was born on May 28, 1951 in Douglasville, Georgia to the late Earl Thomas and Cynthia Mae Holcomb Nash. He was retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant and served his country honorably for 22 years and saw tours of duty in both Viet Nam and Desert Storm. Following his retirement, he worked for 13 years with the Studstill Lumber Company. Chuck loved the Lord, loved his music, and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Survivors include his wife, Sandy Nash of Valdosta; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Chad and Wendy Perrin of Panama City Beach, Florida, William and Krystal Nash of Hahira, Robert and Melissa Nash of Leesburg, Georgia, and Timothy Nash of Los Angeles, California; grandchildren, Brett and Whitney Perrin of Statesboro, Destiny and Anthony Mustizer of Norfolk, Virginia, Lexi Perrin of Panama City Beach, Florida, Taylor Paige Spells and Kaylie Rae Spells both of Hahira, Jesse Allan Spells of Villa Rica, Georgia, Izabella Sophia Nash and Lainie Grace Nash both of Hahira, Brenden Kyle Nash, Garrett Thomas Nash, Zachary Andrew Nash, and Kursten Sage Massey all of Leesburg, Georgia, Piper Nash of Los Angeles, California, and Autumn Johnson of Valdosta; three great-grandchildren, Chandler Perrin of Naylor, Carter Perrin of Statesboro, and Andrew Jake Spells of Hahira; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Sheila and Gary Bowen and Carla Crumley all of Villa Rica, Georgia, and Sheryl Smith of Newnan, Georgia; numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for Charles "Chuck" Nash will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Milton Sellars and Rev. Buck Crumley officiating. The burial will follow in the Carter Cemetery in Echols County. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
