Charles Blunt

Charles Blunt, 48, of Valdosta, died Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at his residence. He was born on July 15, 1960 in Quitman to Nancy Lee Wollett Blunt and the late Thurston Howard Blunt.

Charles is survived by one daughter, Cassandra Leigh Walker of South Carolina, his mother, Nancy Blunt of Valdosta, two brothers and one sister in law, Michael Blunt of Valdosta and James and Diane Blunt of Lake Park, one sister and brother in law, Victoria and Charles Jernigan of Valdosta, aunt, Mickey Bamburg of Valdosta, two nieces, Brandi Jernigan and Carolyn Blunt, three nephews, Jeremy Jernigan, J. T. Blunt and Landon Bullard.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 14, 2008 at three p. m. at the graveside in Hickory Grove Cemetery with Reverend Milton Sellars officiating. Burial will follow. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Bethany Hospice, 2517 Bemiss Road, Valdosta, GA 31602. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Thursday at the Carson McLane Funeral Home.
