Charles Arthur "Artie" Calhoun, Jr.

Charles Arthur "Artie" Calhoun, Jr., 43, of Hahira passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Thomasville, GA on December 3, 1969. Artie was a small engine mechanic and was a member of Gateway Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Yolanda Hall Calhoun, step daughter, Nicole Hall, son, Chase Calhoun all of Hahira, parents, Charles and Trudy Calhoun of Brooks County, sister and brother in law, Misty Calhoun and Joey Jarvis of Ray City, nephew, Chad Calhoun of Brooks County, niece, Jessica Jarvis, great niece, Gracie Stone, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, mother in law, Karen Hall of Hahira, sister in law, Toyan Hall of Orlando and grandmother in law, Frankie Hall of Hahira.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 24, 2013 at two p. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Brother Joseph Benjamin officiating. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Thursday at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
