God called home his son Charles Arnold "Chuck" Hennly, 66, of Valdosta, on Sunday, September 20, 2009 after a long and brave battle with cancer. Chuck was a Christian and a member of First United Methodist Church of Valdosta.

He was born on October 17, 1942 in Rome, GA to the late James R. Hennly Sr. and Cleo Wray Hennly. Chuck moved to Waycross, GA in elementary school and graduated from Waycross High School in 1960. Chuck graduated from North Florida Junior College in Madison, FL in 1972 and from Valdosta State College in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He worked for several years in the mental health field before changing careers.

Chuck was licensed as a real estate agent in 1977 and quickly became a million dollar producer. He loved working with people and was an excellent sales person. After retiring from real estate, Chuck went to work for Radiology Associates of Valdosta where he remained until his death.

He loved sports and was an avid runner. Chuck ran in many local races and in 1991 ran the Jacksonville River Run. He was an avid motorcyclist riding across the United States several times. Chuck also loved sports cars and always took great pride in showing and driving his cars.

He leaves to mourn his death 41 Radiology Associates of Valdosta sisters and 7 RAV brothers all of whom loved him and all of whom he loved deeply.
