August 19, 1944 — March 1, 2005

CHARLES A. REDISH, 60 of Valdosta died Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at South Georgia Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born on August 19, 1944 in Lowndes County to the late Rossie and Agnes Coody Redish and was a lifelong resident of Lowndes County. Mr. Redish was an electrician and had been a merchant seaman. He was a Baptist and was loved by all who knew him.

Survivors include a son, David Redish, two grandsons, Mattigan Redish and Mackenzie Redish, sister in law, Margie Redish, two sisters, Peggy Stubbs and Vivian Rudolph all of Valdosta, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, R. C. Redish.

Funeral services will be held at 4pm, Friday, March 4, 2005 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
