Chad Eugene Folsom, 45, of Valdosta died Sunday, September 19, 2021 at his home. He was born in Valdosta on March 25, 1976 in Valdosta. He was a 1994 graduate of Lowndes High School where he was a member of the Georgia Bridgeman and served as a trumpet section leader. Chad attended the Police Academy and he loved to make people laugh. He was very proud of his son, Parker’s achievements and loved football.
Survivors include his son, Parker Eugene Folsom of Thomasville; his mother and stepfather, Debbie and Bill Jenkins, his grandmother, Evelyn Spells of Valdosta; his sister, Hope Gonzalez; his nephews, Ethan Ramirez, Ayden Gonzalez, his niece, Aria Gonzalez all of Valdosta; his aunt, T. J. Doane of Pavo; uncle and aunt, Gary and Lisa Spells; his cousins, Jamie and Kelly Terrell, Kasey and Thomas Bowles all of Valdosta. He was preceded in death by his father Clarence Eugene Folsom, Jr., his maternal grandfather, William L. Spells and paternal grandparents, Clarence Eugene Folsom, Sr. and Tina Folsom.
