Cathy Maloney Hernandez

Cathy Maloney Hernandez, 49 of Hahira died Friday, November 19, 2010 at South Georgia Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born on December 22, 1960 in Hahira and was a Baptist. Cathy was a graduate of Lowndes High School and Valdosta Technical School. She enjoyed reading Stephen King Books and shopping at the thrift stores.

Survivors include three daughters and one son in law, Candice McDonald of Valdosta, Brittany Freeman of Hahira, Andrea and Shelton Carroll of Valdosta, her grandchildren, Dameon Freeman, Nicholas Freeman, Aidan McDonald, Jazmyn Carroll and Adair Carroll, her dog, Alex, her parents, Louie and Betty Maloney of Hahira, two sisters and brothers in law, Tanya and Lloyd Hill of Charlotte, NC., Tammy and Henry Moran of Cocoa, Fla., her brother, Louie Maloney of Cocoa, Fla., several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Dorothy Daniels and Louelle Maloney.
