Catherine Dahl

Catherine Dahl, 73, of Valdosta died Friday, May 22, 2020 at her home. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on November 24, 1946 to the late Earl Vincent and Veronica Brown Rader and had lived in Valdosta for many years. Mrs. Dahl was a God fearing lady who loved the Lord and an active member of Westside Baptist Church. Mrs. Dahl was a “Nanny” to everyone and loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed watching her soap operas on television and loved animals.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Dahl; her son and daughter in law, Daniel and Cindy Coulter; two daughters and a son in law, Dawn and Timmy Keen, Dianne Van Pelt all of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Kristie Wiggins, Ashley and Brian McMenamin, Allison and Brent Robison, Daniel Coulter, Emily Van Pelt; her great grandchildren, Landon Wiggins, Everly McMenamin, Foxx McMenamin, Christian Lee, Malachi Lee; a friend who was like a daughter, Cassieta Lee of Valdosta; her brother and sister in law, Terry and Debbie Rader of Kansas City, MO; her aunt, Dorothy Rogers of LaLuz, NM and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Vincent Earl Rader.
Funeral services will be held at 4pm, Tuesday, May 26, 2020 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Pastor Ernie Jones and Pastor Austin Wynn officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3-4pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Westside Baptist Church, 1600 Lankford Drive, Valdosta, GA 31601.
